What To Expect During Your First Orthodontic Visit
Welcome to Bailey Orthodontics!
We can’t wait to meet you and welcome you to our office! Here is what you can expect at your first visit:
-
WELCOME
Bailey Orthodontics offers every patient a complimentary consultation. We know that choosing an orthodontist is a big decision and our team is committed to ensure you feel confident before beginning your new smile journey! At your consultation, which takes about an hour, you’ll have a chance to check out our office, chat with the doctors and get acquainted with our staff. You’ll feel right at home in our office and you’ll leave knowing that you will receive the amazing care you deserve!
-
COMPLEMENTARY DIAGNOSTIC RECORDS
During your initial visit our treatment coordinators will take photos of your teeth and a digital 3D x-ray, including a panoramic and cephalometric scan. By using cutting edge technology to obtain these diagnostic records our doctors are able to give a more accurate diagnosis and superior treatment results. The doctors will then conduct an oral examination and review your treatment images and x-rays with you.
-
CUSTOMIZED TREATMENT PLAN
The orthodontists and treatment coordinators will explain the details of your customized treatment plan that will bring out the best in your smile. Whether it is Invisalign, braces, aesthetic gingival contouring or a combination of other orthodontic appliances our team will walk you through your treatment options and answer any and all questions you may have. They will also go over the the cost of treatment, your insurance coverage and payment plans to ensure your treatment will work for your budget.
-
START TREATMENT
If you are ready to start treatment the next step is to schedule your first appointment! In many cases we can offer the convenience of beginning treatment immediately following your exam or we can find another time that works with your schedule.
If your child is not quite ready to start treatment, they can join our free 7 & Up Kids Club where we will monitor their growth and development through periodic exams to determine the right treatment at the right time!
